Don’t have YELL in your school district? Take our Virtual Entrepreneurship Program – now available for students in Grades 10-12 across Canada!

YELL’s Virtual Entrepreneurship Program

ATTENTION Grade 10-12 students across Canada – You asked and we listened!

Now, students across Canada who do not have access to the in-person YELL program in their school district OR students who couldn’t get into their district classes will have the opportunity to take it virtually. We will be enrolling 25 of the brightest minds to participate in our pilot program starting October 2021!

Our Full-Year Program… just online!

Our virtual offering includes all the key components of our in-person program! Students learn all the core concepts of lean entrepreneurship and will hear from inspiring entrepreneurs and business leaders who will share stories and advice to our budding innovators. Students will also get the chance to work as a team with a mentor, and pitch a business venture idea at the YELL Venture Challenge. More details about the YELL Entrepreneurship Program.

AboutUs-3

A True North Program

YELL’s virtual program will enrol students from all across Canada! You will get the chance to meet, learn alongside, and work with peers from different communities. With the support of our nationwide community, students will interact with entrepreneurs and business leaders from all over the country!

Graduate

Credit Towards High School Graduation and University

Similar to our in-person program, students may be eligible for Independent Directed Study credits by enrolling in YELL’s Virtual Entrepreneurship Program. Please check your school or province’s website on course eligibility and how to apply for credits.

Just like other YELL students, those in good standing could be eligible for university credits. We are in discussions with Simon Fraser University’s Charles Chang Institute of Entrepreneurship to give credits to our Virtual Program students, should they wish to enrol in any faculty.

Taught by world-class educators

Our Virtual Program is taught by YELL’s National Director of Education and YELL Teacher, Ian Mak. He currently also teaches two in-person YELL classes at Mulgrave School and supports YELL Canada to ensure that our curriculum and programming across the country is top notch!
